Lots of Custom Quests
Travel through Britannia taking on handcrafted quests with exploration, combat, objectives, rewards, and shard-specific stories that go beyond standard content.
Adventure everywhereA familiar world reborn with deep custom crafting, Legendary Weapons, Arcane Jewelry, named bosses, custom quests, expanded progression, and new reasons to keep your legend growing.
Britannia Eternal keeps the freedom and spirit of Ultima Online while building a much larger custom layer around it. The classic world you remember still exists, but now there are new places to explore, custom quests, named enemies, memorable bosses, deeper crafting, expanded progression, and systems designed to keep both adventurers and crafters busy for the long haul.
Britannia Eternal does not throw away the world that made Ultima Online special. The familiar lands, towns, dungeons, monsters, gathering routes, and classic places are still part of the adventure.
On top of that foundation, the shard adds custom locations, new encounters, special bosses, quest content, expanded travel, and new reasons to explore areas you may have crossed a hundred times before.
Britannia Eternal is being built around discovery. You will find custom quest lines, one-off adventures, special objectives, and named enemies meant to make the world feel active rather than empty.

Explore moreNew players get a generous head start so you can spend less time grinding the basics and more time exploring Britannia Eternal.
Britannia Eternal speeds up skill and stat gains so progress feels rewarding, but nothing is instant. You still train, adventure, craft, and earn your character growth while moving at a friendlier pace than the old grind.
Equipment and magical bonuses remain separate from natural stat caps and may raise effective values above the natural maximum.
Enemies can reward Eternal Tokens, with tougher creatures paying out more. Save them and spend them at special Eternal Token vendors for configured rewards.
Players may choose to donate to help with server costs and receive Eternal Scrolls, but donations are never required to enjoy or progress through Britannia Eternal. Anything offered through donation rewards is also obtainable somewhere in the game world, even if some rewards are intentionally rare or difficult to earn.
Crafting is not an afterthought in Britannia Eternal. Gather rare materials, pursue high crafting skills, create powerful runic equipment, enchant custom jewelry, and build weapons that continue growing long after the forge goes cold.
Go beyond Valorite with Britannia Eternal's custom Platinum crafting tier. Platinum is built as a true high-end goal for dedicated miners and blacksmiths.
A qualifying weapon crafted by a Legendary Blacksmith can become a long-term companion. Use it in battle, earn weapon experience, gain levels, and spend upgrade points exactly where you want them.
Take crafted jewelry and enchant it with a custom Tinkering system using materials gathered throughout the world. High-end recipes give serious crafters a reason to keep progressing.
Arcane Jewelry ingredients come from themed enemies instead of a generic vendor. Want Titan Essence? Hunt Titans. Need Emberglass? Seek out fire creatures. The world itself feeds the crafting economy.
I have been playing Ultima Online since 1998 and have spent time on more shards than I could realistically count. Over the years I kept looking for a server that combined everything I enjoyed most: meaningful crafting, rewarding exploration, lots of quests, named bosses, long-term character growth, useful quality-of-life systems, and the freedom that made UO special in the first place.
I found plenty of shards that did individual things very well, but I never found one that felt exactly right for the way I like to play. Britannia Eternal grew out of that search. I am also a CRPG game developer, so building worlds, progression systems, quests, encounters, and rewards is something I genuinely enjoy—and this shard gives me a place to bring those ideas into Ultima Online.
The philosophy here is not to remove the classic game. It is to keep the old world alive and keep adding reasons to adventure through it. Skill and stat gains are faster than the traditional grind, but they are not instant. Powerful crafting takes investment. Rare rewards still feel rare. Bosses and quests give you goals. Gathering feeds the economy. Your character and equipment should feel like things you built over time rather than something handed to you on login.
Progression moves at a friendlier pace, but training, Power Scrolls, crafting skill, weapon levels, and character growth still matter.
Donations can help support the shard and provide Eternal Scrolls, but every donation reward can also be obtained through the game world.
Systems are designed around the question I have asked for years: would this give me another good reason to log in, explore, craft, hunt, or build something?
Connecting is simple. Use a supported Ultima Online installation with the client or assistant setup you prefer—ClassicUO, UOSteam, Razor, or another compatible option—enter the public shard address below, create your account, and your adventure will begin in Eternal Grove.
No special invitation is required. Your account is created when you log in with a new account name and password, subject to the shard's account rules.
Have an Ultima Online installation compatible with client version 7.0.116.40 or newer.
Use ClassicUO, UOSteam, Razor, or another compatible client/assistant setup you prefer and create a new shard/server entry.
Set the address to 98.0.18.43 and the port to 2593, then connect.
Log in, create your character, collect your new-player package, choose five skills at 90, and begin in Eternal Grove.
Choose an account name and password you will remember. Once connected, create your character normally. Britannia Eternal then sends new adventurers to Eternal Grove with their custom starting benefits.
Double-check the public address, make sure the port is 2593, and verify your Ultima Online client is at least version 7.0.116.40. ClassicUO, UOSteam, Razor, and other compatible setups are welcome. If the shard announces a new public address later, use the newest address posted by Britannia Eternal.
